Today I’m featuring a book by Jill Mansell! I discovered her titles years ago when I was obsessed with Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series. It was exciting to find another author with fun, entertaining, and happy stories to tell!

My Thoughts:

This Could Change Everything by Jill Mansell

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 uplifting, happy stars to This Could Change Everything! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Essie Phillips wrote a ranting email about her boss, who happens to be her boyfriend’s mother, and somehow, it was inadvertently sent to everyone in her address book! As things tend to go these days, the email went viral. Essie stands to lose not just her job, but her relationship and her apartment as well.

How can she repair the damage? Flighty Essie decides to run as fast as she can to a new town and start entirely over.

Wow, there’s a lot to love in book! Warm-hearted, loving characters abound, and there are a few interesting storylines taking place in addition to Essie’s.

First, let’s start with Essie. She is likable and, really, her email was just her being honest about how she felt. Fortunately for her, that email set in motion a positive, new phase in her life, possibly better and more enriching than her old one.

Zillah is a love, a ball of fun, enjoys dressing up in high heels; all at a young eighty-three years old. I perked up every time Zillah was mentioned!

Of course there are a couple charming male characters that add some swoon factor and fun, but I don’t want to name any names and spoil Essie’s evolution.

Jill Mansell has done it again with This Could Change Everything! It is a most endearing, lighthearted, quirky, and utterly enchanting romance. If you enjoy old school Sophie Kinsella or uplifting, sweet reads, Mansell is a go-to. I wish I could read this one all over again, and one day, you betcha, I will!

Thank you to Sourcebooks Landmark for the opportunity read this ARC. This Could Change Everything is available now!
