Nah, I’m scared of too much soy (breast cancer risk) so I don’t eat much tofu! Are you sorry you asked me?! 😂 We are going to do a chickpea veggie loaf (which is an amazing meat loaf type thing), and a meatless shepherd’s pie. Normally we have meat eaters over and still have turkey, but my husband has to work this year and so it’s smaller. My favorite thing though- my twice baked mashed potatoes with cheese out the wazoo! Do you have everyone over to your house, or do you go somewhere else? ♥️

I read this last weekend! It was a fun rom-com; silly at times but a lot of fun! It was a book that made me happy and I loved the character dynamics. I think you’ll enjoy it! It was my first Christina Lauren book too, but I’ve added most of their books to my TBR, lol! Enjoy it! xoxo ♥

Gosh, I’m sorry this is late!! We went to Great Wolf Lodge on Friday…that was our Black Friday Shopping, haha! We just got back tonight! It was so much fun! Homeschooling is awfully flexible, wow. We still did school today 🙂 I really hope you enjoyed this one! I was even able to write my review for this one to post on the blog on the car ride home, yay me! Hope your Monday was great!! Funny…I hope to own some after Christmas morning, lol. ♥

Oh no! My mom was the same way when I was growing up. It would make her nauseous that I’d read in the backseat when we were driving over the mountains. I’m glad I don’t have that problem but feel bad for anyone who does! I know the feeling. I did a lot of internet boot shopping this weekend lol. Not books, but shoes are my other weakness. We went to the one in Charlotte since hubby had a business thing there. I’d love to go to the one in Williamsburg or just Williamsburg itself! I love it there. He and I’ve never been together in all these years! I think my little history geek would enjoy it, but right now she’s obsessed with the ancient Babylonians and Persia and would like to visit the ruins until I told her that was not happening anytime soon! So I’ve spent most of my night watching documentaries on The Hanging Gardens and ancient Babylon and Persia. Colonial Williamsburg might not be glorious enough for her but still fun! Maybe she’ll be an archaeologist ❤😁

I think she’ll love Williamsburg! She can study anthropology in undergrad and go to Carolina! 😉 ♥️ I was going to do archaeology for grad school if I didn’t get in to my chosen field. Can’t remember if I told you that! So I LOVE her interest! ♥️

I think she will too! I do remember you telling me that and thought of that when I was telling her that most of what we know of ancient history is because of archaeologists. She may very well or be a historian; that’s my minor and sometimes I regret that I didn’t major in it! I love her interest too…my boys get a glazed look in there eyes, lol! ♥

I am so super excited about this book. I picked up Love and Other Words earlier this year and ever since I read that book I have been totally hooked on Christina Lauren!

I’ve read some Christina Lauren or listened to some of their audiobooks. I loved Josh & Haxel. I also enjoyed Sweet Filthy Boy. They do a great job of defining and developing their characters which is a key thing for me in books. Enjoy! Anne – Books of My Heart
