20190309_165333.jpgToday I am super excited to share my review of another book I group read, and we unanimously endorsed, My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing, available today from Berkley!

My Thoughts:

Another short synopsis, and another review where I try to keep all the goodies hidden. Seriously! I don’t to give away a word of this juicy thriller!

Two people fall in love and have kids. They are living the American dream. Then, they become restless.

For all appearances, they are the typical couple. One you may know.

Their secret for staying together? Wait for it!

.

Getting away with murder?!

My Lovely Wife is crazy, shocking, addictive, twisty, and insert just about every other positive thriller adjective you or I may have used before. It will chill you to the bone, while keeping you completely gripped in its clutches. I knew this was going to be GOOD, but I had no idea it would be THIS good.

With a slow build, each page ramps up the tension. You are never bored, and in fact, you will be glued to this book, so I recommend reading it in one or two sittings if you can.

Overall, My Lovely Wife is a fresh and brilliant thriller. The perfect choice for those of us who read this genre all the time! This is the thriller we beg for!

I received a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Synopsis:

Dexter meets Mr. and Mrs. Smith in this wildly compulsive debut thriller about a couple whose fifteen-year marriage has finally gotten too interesting…

Our love story is simple. I met a gorgeous woman. We fell in love. We had kids. We moved to the suburbs. We told each other our biggest dreams, and our darkest secrets. And then we got bored.

We look like a normal couple. We’re your neighbors, the parents of your kid’s friend, the acquaintances you keep meaning to get dinner with.

We all have secrets to keeping a marriage alive.

Ours just happens to be getting away with murder.

Have you read My Lovely Wife, or is it on your TBR? Happy Reading! ~ Jenni THR
