Welcome to my stop on the History at a Glance blog tour sponsored by TLC Book Tours! Thanks to TLC for the invitation!
My Thoughts:
How did National Geographic fine-tune a history of humanity from the very beginning to today and fit it all within the pages of this one volume, along with stunning pictures? It’s quite the feat, and the undertaking is nothing short of awe-inspiring. My favorite aspect is that it offers jumping-off points with inspiration to delve further into so many topics of interest.
Any history lover will devour this and will be grateful to have this on her shelf. I took every history course available to me in high school and earned enough college credit to cover any further history study prior to entering college. I am no historical expert, but I am a huge fan, and I’m sure that’s why historical fiction remains my favorite genre. This book is everything. EVERYTHING. Just when I think these Nat Geo books can’t top themselves, they do it again. Every single time.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, and I gave it a great big hug.

I love historical fiction and non-fiction books. Nat Geo always puts out such incredible content, both in terms of their written publications and televised content. The visuals are everything. I feel like this book would be so interesting – may need to add this one to my Christmas list.
