Welcome to my stop on the JD in the Kitchen blog tour sponsored by TLC Book Tours! Thanks to TLC for the invitation!
My Thoughts:
JD in the Kitchen: Indian Sweet Snacks is a slim volume chock full of yumminess. You all know I love my sweets, and there are so many recipes I want to try, especially anything involving coconut and almonds. I love Indian food, especially cooking it myself, but I have only made savory dishes so far and can’t wait to dive into some sweet ones.
The pictures are in full color, and I love that the book is spiral bound with thick pages. Overall, this cookbook is great quality, and I am excited to check out more of Jasmine Daya’s cookbooks in the future.
I received a gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

I have to be careful with spicy foods but an occasional Indian dish is always welcome.

Halwa and jalebi is my favorite. I can’t cook all of these but Thepla is Gujarati snack and I can cook it even in sleep. Glad to know you like Indian food. Great review!

I love Indian food! Normally, I don’t cook it at home, but I like to go to Indian restaurants. Just reading your review made my mouth water, perhaps I should attempt some Indian cooking soon! 🙂

It’s so yummy, stargazer! I love making it at home because I can control the spice level. A little curry goes a long way for me, and I love chickpeas, lentils, dals. So yummy. I have a lemon lime dal I make in the summer that I can eat cold, and it’s just as yummy!

I feel like all cookbooks should be spiral bound! Any other way is just so hard to navigate when you are elbow deep in a weird mixture! Thank you for being on this tour. Sara @ TLC Book Tours
