Welcome to my stop on the Supercharged Life blog tour sponsored by Suzy Approved Book Tours! Thank you to Suzy for the invitation! I’m excited to be sharing a new podcast with you, and the timing for it could not be better if you could use some uplifting and distraction. Today is the debut!
I reviewed Dr. Ho’s book last year. Check it out.
About the Podcast and Dr. Judy Ho:
D. Judy Ho is a Los Angeles based triple board-certified Clinical Neuropsychologist and tenured Associate Professor at Pepperdine University. Her thought provoking insight and analysis of the human psychological condition has established her as a go-to television host, panelist and expert on numerous national broadcasts. She is the author of the best-selling book, “Stop Self-Sabotage,” a useful tool for anyone standing in their own way, who undermines their own interests and intentions and is looking for lasting change and meaningful success.
Dr. Judy will show you how to grab life with both hands and live it to the fullest. Whether she’s helping to navigate life with her patients, swinging from a flying trapeze, singing her favorite Broadway songs or taking on a new adventure; Dr. Judy walks her talk and invites others along for the journey.
“SuperCharged Life with Dr. Judy” is where she will dive deeply and fearlessly into guests’ issues in love, sex, friendships, work-career, bad habits, addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety. Sometimes it’s painful to uncover what’s really holding them back, but with Dr. Judy’s help they can discover a new way to take on life, inspire love and create happiness and fulfillment. Each podcast will give a tangible tool they can do that will “SuperCharge” their lives!

I listened to the Supercharged Life podcast this morning, and I enjoyed hearing from Dr. Judy and her sister, Maria. They obviously have a natural rapport, and it was fascinating to hear how one sister chose psychology while the other chose to use psychological principles in the professional game of poker. One of my favorite parts was when the sisters shared insightfully and authentically why they went to therapy together to preserve their relationship. Overall, it’s a positive, warm, and entertaining podcast, and I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more!

I’m not very good with anything audio, hence I don’t think I’d be able to enjoy podcasts. Nevertheless, this sounds interesting and she has many great possible guests!

It’s definitely an acquired experience, Jee! I had to learn to focus for audio and still don’t like every genre this way. This podcast was super entertaining and I didn’t mind missing the visual. It felt like I was listening to a radio talk show if that makes sense.
