Welcome to my stop on the The Exit Strategy blog tour sponsored by Suzy Approved Book Tours! Thank you to Suzy for the invitation!
About the Book:
Silicon Valley investor Ryn Brennan is on the verge of achieving everything she dreamed. She’s succeeded in the male-dominated venture capital world, has a supportive husband, and is about to close the deal of her career. Everything is going exactly as planned, until she meets Carly, her husband’s mistress, across the negotiating table.
Carly clawed her way back from being a teenage runaway to become an accomplished scientist, caring single mom, and co-founder of her startup. Once she marries her loving fiancé, she’ll secure the complete family she craves. But she’s blindsided to discover her not so perfect fiancé is already married—to Ryn, her company’s biggest investor.
In an industry full of not-so-subtle sexism, can the two women rise above, and work together to overcome heartbreak, and ensure their success?
My Thoughts:
Ryn Brennan is a huge success in the venture capital arena, and she’s about to complete the biggest deal of her career when she realizes she’s sitting across the table from her husband’s mistress.
Carly is the mistress, who’s climbed her way to success from a hard earl life to a young single mom, and now a founder of a start-up. She’s engaged to a man she adores and who loves her back. The only problem is he already married to Ryn, who is now tied in as an investor to her business.
Talk about a triangle – emotionally and financially! Will the women overcome the emotional to keep their businesses afloat?
This was such a unique and compelling story. I loved the twists and mystery to all of it and the confident, strong characters. Overall, I found it quite the page-turner.
I received a gifted copy. All opinions are my own.

WordPress and their Gremlins! I’ve been finding it harder to grab some blogging and reading time lately, it’s always the same during the summer holidays and this year seems even tougher – your blog is always a favourite of mine, I’ve bought/added so many books to my wishlist thanks to your wonderful recommendations 😀 😀
